Degeberga-Widtsköfle Golf Club or DWGK is a unique 18-hole course in the middle of nature and on the outskirts of northern Österlen.
Built on a sandy soil, this par 72 course has a long playing season. DWGK is known throughout the community as a really exciting golf course. It was made in 1988, and completed into 18 holes in 1990.
This well-measured golf course is created by famous Swedish architect Tommy Nordström.
Wide fairways with gentle slopes remind of some Scottish courses. Nature around it is rich with forest, pine trees and sandy bushes.
DWGK is giving a priority to environmental issues in the management of the court and keeps the golf's Environmental Diploma since 2008.
It is appreciated by the pros and the amateurs and has hosted several major national tournaments.
In the clubhouse, there is a restaurant serving local delicacies, well-equipped shop and efficient conference rooms with wireless internet access and video projector.
